When our communities are strong, so are we.
Each year, we aim to invest 4% of our net income back in our communities. Our contributions include grants and in-kind product donations to over 100 organizations each year.
Every employee receives 8 hours of paid time each year to volunteer with the organization of their choice. We also match employee donations to nonprofit organizations, up to $500 per employee annually.
We’re working hard to build a culture where we genuinely care for each other, do right by our customers and community and work together. When our internal values meet community needs, incredible things happen.

Building the Future of farms and Farming
As a farmer-owned co-op, we care deeply about the future of farming and are actively investing in it. We support the Oregon Agricultural Trust on their mission to protect farmland. Plus, we’ve committed $1.5M to Oregon State University’s new dairy processing facility, which will advance the dairy industry in Oregon.

EMPOWERING YOUTH
Empowering youth is key to building resilient communities, and we’re helping provide opportunities for kids in our hometown communities to be active. For example in Tillamook County, we helped fund a new track and field to support fitness and exercise opportunities for both students and the community.
Each year we support local programs dedicated to providing nutrition education to families, children and schools. This includes support to family nutrition programs, school gardens, and school nutrition education programs such as Grow Portland, Friends of the Children Portland and the Providence Teaching Kitchen & Food Pantry at Providence Milwaukie Hospital.
To support college-bound students, we saw a need for a different type of scholarship, not based solely on academic success or athletic ability, but one that shines a spotlight on students who find ways to enrich their communities. In 2022, we marked the 20th anniversary of this program, which invests $25,000 each year in scholarships for students.
